Wall of Omens draws many cards and serves as defense for those pesky aggro decks. Barrin, Tolarian Archmage is able to bounce your own utility creatures or pester the opponent's board. Soulherder is oft the very best card to resolve.Īrcanist's Owl just keeps digging. Combined with a counterspell in the graveyard, it can be a soft-lock with Archaeomancer (run that, too). Ephemerate is an overperformer whiles Ghostly Flicker, though more to cast, gets the job done. Yorion can do quite a bit, and it begins looping with effects such as Charming Prince. Upon actual suggestions are a couple categories worth bolstering. So this should go in nearly every deck, and this one seems perfect, and— (okay I'm done jesting). There is a budget constraint, wherethrough I shall keep all of my suggestions under two dollars. I haven't delved upon the blink strategy myself for quite some time, though I may be of aid. Just 2BB and pretty much take someone out of the game. Tempest Caller is interesting too if you're going wide. Might be too fragile if there's a lot of enchantment removal in your meta though.
You might try Quest for Renewal too, as it is everyone's upkeep you can activate your Commander again. You could tap it with Kumena, pay 1B and bounce a permanent. Surgespanner Would be pretty brutal with Kumena as well. Could untap a big Merfolk after you tap it for Kumena's abilty, or you could use it for politics, mana rock untapping, all sorts of cool interactions.
